Many of KHLN's events and activities rely on committed volunteers. This ranges from :

  • Helping to prepare food for older people's lunch clubs
  • Talking and listening to people who attend groups to help to combat social isolation
  • Running cook and eat sessions with youth groups
  • Assisting with specific groups or events

Volunteering can be a useful way to contribute to your

community or to gain experience for work or college.

If you would like to help with a group or project please contact us to arrange for an informal interview.

Some experience of working with people is an advantage and an interest in promoting a particular aspect of healthy living.

Note : Please be aware that all volunteers will be subject to an enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check.
