KHLN supports and runs a range of activities for older people in Keighley, particularly those who are socially isolated. These include :

  • Weekly lunch clubs at Foster Gardens and Sue Belcher, Brackenbank Community Centres- a healthy buffet followed by a wide range of activities
  • Monthly sessions with The Ukrainian Womens Association including chair exercises, music, aromatherapy and healthy eating
  • Courses at the KHLN building including textiles, art and crafts.
  • Therapy sessions with the Ukrainians Womens Group
  • Highfield 50 plus Asian Womens Group
  • Silver Citizens Woodworking Course and Exercise sessions

These activities were organised in partnership with the Workers Education Association, Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, Keighley Elderly Initiative,Springfield Mill, The Parkinsons Disease Society, Keighley Area Panel and Bradford Social Services.
