Keighley Healthy Living Network (KHLN) is a registered charitable company and one of 257 Healthy Living Centres in the UK supported by the Bradford & Airedale teaching PCT.

We are a community health and well being development agency.

Aims of the Keighley Healthy Living Network :

  • Keighley Healthy Living Network aims to promote the health and well being of people in Keighley through partnerships and community led initiatives.
  • Working with local people across all age ranges, ethnicity groups and abilities.
  • Consulting with local people to find ways of working effectively with them to assist them in improving their healthy living opportunities.
  • Developing appropriate activities through which people can learn about what makes a healthy lifestyle and how they can access activities which will promote this.
  • Enabling local people to have up to date public health information about what types of behaviour can damage or improve their health in the short or long term.

KHLN seeks to work in partnership with any other agency in Keighley, which is working towards promoting the health and well being of the local population. One of our key partners is Bradford & Airedale teaching PCT. We also work with a number of community organisations to deliver our developing programme of activities.

KHLN has an office and meeting spaces, which are disabled accessible in central Keighley. We are currently a team of six regular staff and key sessional workers who run community based healthy living activities.
